She Made It!!!!
My baby is the youngest cellist in the history our local Youth Symphony (50+ years) to be offered a spot! Woooo Hoooo!! This is definately a proud mommy and daddy moment! She practiced 2 hours a day and played a Bach Minuet, C major scale and performed sight reading (she can read music quite well!). She has been studying Suzuki for 3 years and plays on a Rudolph Doestch German Cello! Go Baby Go!!!Labels: Youth Symphony Cello

That is awesome. Congrats!! That will be a great experience for her. I played Suski on piano ( I don't think I spelt that right) I loved it.

that is really amazing. it takes not only talent but an incredible amount of determination and the ability to sacrifice 'play time.' Kudos!
